What we collect, and what we don’t.

Last updated · 14 May 2026

The short version

PixHaul is a small collection of browser-based tools. We don’t require an account, we don’t store the files or text you process, and we don’t sell any data. The only third-party service we use is Google Analytics, and only if you explicitly accept it.

What runs in your browser

Every tool except the Image Scraper runs entirely on your device using standard Web APIs (Canvas, pdf-lib, the WebCrypto random generator, etc). The files you drop, the text you paste, and the results you download never leave your computer.

What the Image Scraper does

The Image Scraper takes a URL you paste and fetches that page from our server (browsers won’t fetch arbitrary cross-origin pages directly). We parse the HTML for image references and return the list to your browser. Image downloads are streamed through our server only when the destination site blocks direct hotlinking. We do not log, store or share the URLs you paste or the images that pass through.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are used most. This helps us decide what to improve next. We do not load any analytics scripts until you click Accept analytics on the consent banner. If you decline, no Google Analytics scripts are loaded and no cookies are set by us.

When you accept, Google Analytics may set the following first-party cookies on your device:

  • _ga— distinguishes unique users (expires after 2 years)
  • _ga_<id>— session identifier (expires after 2 years)

We have IP anonymization on and Google’s advertising signals disabled, so the data we see is aggregate visitor counts and tool usage events — not individual profiles.

You can change your mind anytime:

What we never do

  • Require an account, email, or name to use any tool.
  • Sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • Run ad networks, third-party trackers, social pixels or session recorders.
  • Persist the files, URLs or text you process.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Because we don’t hold personal data tied to an identity, there’s almost nothing to request — but you still have the right to:

  • Refuse analytics tracking (click No thanks on the banner).
  • Withdraw consent later (the Manage cookies button above).
  • Ask us anything via hello@pixhaul.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect, we’ll update this page and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will reset the consent banner so you can decide again.
